Description
The Poinsettia Inlay Pen, not only for Christmas! Give them a lasting gift that will remind them of you every time they use it.
The plant’s association with Christmas began in 16th-century Mexico, where legend tells of a girl, who was too poor to provide a gift for the celebration of Jesus’ birthday and was inspired by an angel to gather weeds from the roadside and place them in front of the church altar. Crimson blossoms sprouted from the weeds and became poinsettias. Subsequently Franciscan friars in Mexico began including the plants in their Christmas celebrations. The star-shaped leaf pattern is said to symbolize the Star of Bethlehem, and the red color represents the blood sacrifice through the crucifixion of Jesus.
The Poinsettia Inlay pen is handcrafted from laser cut natural curly maple and dyed woods. The gold and chrome hardware is fitted with an elegant decorative center band, which compliments the sophisticated look of the pen and enhances the design. The pen uses Parker style refills, accommodating both ballpoint and gel styles.
