On the endcap is a printed picture of the moon enclosed beneath a magnified dome. The pen clip features phases of the moon, in enameled detail, as the moon waxes and wanes. The pen tip tapers featuring more stars and includes notches and measurement markings inspired by a telescope. A German made Schmidt twist mechanism has a smooth, snappy action. Uses the Parker style refill both ballpoint and gel.
